International Field Studies is a public non-profit scientific and educational organization established in 1970. Our home office is located in Nelsonville, Ohio with additional facilities in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and our field station Andros Island, Bahamas.
IFS maintains the philosophy of promoting educational and scientific activities through direct field studies in all aspects of our operation. Programs are geared toward high school and college students seeking course credit, although we do host a handful of researchers throughout the year.
